HOW TO ORDER

Ordering at Eastwind Import website is easy! Just be careful about one thing: We have different shipping charges for US Customers and Non-US Customers. Non-US customers include those who live in Canada and Mexico.

Use the navigation bars on the left side to browse the CDs you are interested: You can navigate yourself by label, artist or special formats (XRCDs, SACD). If you see something interesting on one of these project category pages, click the "Details" link or the picture of the CD to go to the Album Details page.

You can read the detailed information of the album including performing artists and song selections, and listen to sample sound files. When you decide to purchase the item, click the Add to Cart link. You will then see a shopping cart page.

In the shopping cart page, you can adjust the quantity of items you are ordering, clear the cart, and choose the shipping destination (US or Non-US) by a pull-down menu. Non-US includes Canada and Mexico. When you choose the shipping destination, applicable shipping fees are added and the grand total amount is shown. If you want to keep shopping, click the "Back to Listings" link on top of the page. If you are ready to check out, click the "Check Out" button.

When you click the "Check Out" button, you will be taken to the PayPal payment page. All our transactions go through PayPal.

If you have a PayPal account, simply log in to PayPal and follow the directions that follow. If you don't have a PayPal account and want to use your credit card, click the "Continue" link under "Dont have a PayPal account?" and follow the instructions. It is simple, secure, and there is NO additional fee for you for using a credit card.

All of our CDs and LPs ship from California, USA, using United States Postal Services. If you live in the US, CDs will ship via USPS First Class or Priority Mail with insurance. The most economical way is selected depending on the number of CDs in an order. If you live abroad, your CDs will ship via USPS Priority or regular Airmail with insurance (whe available). Currently, all vinyl LPs within the US will ship via USPS Media Mail with insurance. For international customers, LPs will ship via USPS Priority International mail with insurance.


Shipping and handling charges for US customers

CDs (First Class or Priority Mail with insurance)
$5.00 for the first CD
+$1.95 for each additional CD

LPs (Media Mail with insurance)
$8.00 for the first LP
+$1.25 for each additional LP


If you mix LPs and CDs in the same order, the first item is considered to be an LP and the same rules apply to the rest of the order. Also, an order including one or more LPs will be shipped via USPS Media Mail even if it contains CDs. If you live in California, state sales tax 8.75% will be applied to the total purchase price (not shipping & handling) after you enter your shipping address in the PayPal payment process.

CDs (First Class or Priority Mail without insurance)
$9.00 for the first CD
+$2.50 for each additional CD

LPs (Priority Mail with insurance)
$30.00 for the first LP
+$6.50 for each additional LP

If you mix LPs and CDs in the same order, the first item is considered to be an LP and the same rules apply to the rest of the order. Also, an order including one or more LPs will be shipped via USPS Priority International Mail even if it contains CDs.


If you don't want to or can't use PayPal...

We now accept credit card orders over the phone! If you want to use your credit card directly with us (withoug going through PayPal), simply call us at 714-334-0759 (US Pacific Time) with your order and credit card information. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.To help offset the fees charged for this kind of transaction by credit companies, $1.00 will be added to the total amount per transaction.

In addition, we accept the following forms of payment:

• USPS money order (US customers only)
• cashier's check (US customers only)
• personal check (US customers only)
• Western Union (US and International)
• international postal money order in US$ (International)

If you want to use one of these methods, please email us or call us at 714-334-0759 and let us know which CDs you'd like to purchase. We will send you an email telling you the total amount (including shpping). We will send the CDs after the payment is received and properly cashed.
