As the conclusion of her "Four Seasons" series, Nicki Parrott gave us a very nice Christmas album called Winter Wonderland. In this series from Venus Records, Parrott achieved an amazing feat in 2012, releasing four full-length albums each season.
As with other three albums, this winter album is produced with impeccable taste and musicianship. In addition to her regular collaborators Lisa Parrott, Paul Meyers, John Di Martino and Tim Horner, on this album she has a special guest Houston Person on tenor sax who makes significant contributions with his honey-dripping romanticism.
