Description:World premier release on CD! Includes two previously unreleased tracks!

Zoot Sims returned home to Inglewood, California temporarily in 1954. There, in his home, he recorded a rehearsal session with some of the local musicians. Five of the songs from that session, led by Pinky Winters on vocals, have been released by SSJ separately. The remaining five instrumental tunes, led by Zoot, are included here on Lover Man.

The last track, almost 15 minutes long, is a previously unreleased jam session recorded at The Lighthouse in Hermosa Beach, California. Zoot sat in on this session with the Lighthouse All-Stars on March 9, 1954.
